UFI Software v1.8.0.3246 Update Released

Hello UFixers around the Globe,
After waiting for so long, in the midst of an uncertain world situation,
We are proud to announce UFI Software version 1.8.0.3246 Release Preview,

It doesn't feel like UFI Box has accompanied us for 8 years,
of course we have been through many stories.
Therefore Thank you for your patience and support during this time.

What's New :

General Changes :
  •  Improved Support System
  •  ADD : Support for EROFS

UFS Tool Box Changes :
  • ADD : Unlock Config Descriptor Lock 
    • Spesified for Samsung, SK hynix, Micron, WD, Kioxia UFS
  • BUGFIX : Minor bugfixes and improvements

Android Tool Box Changes :
  • ADD : [MediaTek] Enables custom loader routine for
    • eMMC Full Reset(Reset ECC error, RPMB counter)
  • ADD : [MediaTek] Preloader mode support for the following brand:
    • Oppo
    • Vivo
    • Samsung
    • Infinix
    • Itel
    • Techno
  • BUGFIX : Minor bugfixes and improvements

The following are some of the feature highlights in the UFI Software update :
  • Unlock Config Descriptor Lock on Tab UFS Configuration in UFI UFS ToolBox. This feature is useful for unlocking the config lock(OTP descriptor Lock) of the UFS chip, so now you can change the LUN configuration according to your needs.



  • Preloader mode support for Transsion Devices (Infinix, Itel, Tecno), Oppo, Vivo and some Samsung.

  • Integrated custom loader and custom dll library, so now you don't need to have stock firmware (scatter+preloader files) to perform Identify Devices and other special functions on the Mediatek tab.
  • Enables custom loader routine to perform special task feature, such as: Especially for Samsung eMMC(moviNAND) to Clean RPMB(eMMC Full Reset) under testing, Read FFU & Repair CID, Repartitioning SKHynix eMMC to repair Exeeded maximum device life time

  • Unlock Config Descriptor Lock also available in UFI Android ToolBox via Special Task, so now you can unlock descriptor lock config on the fly without chip off methode.
